This collection began as a playful experiment: translating Adobe’s iconic CS5 app icons into wearable designs. Each shirt mirrors the color and layout of its respective program, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and InDesign, capturing the instantly recognizable look that defined a generation of creatives.
The front of each shirt features the signature two-letter abbreviation in a clean, centered layout, while the back adds a small personal mark, my own color swatch signature at the nape, tying the digital and physical designs together. The idea was simple: make something designers would immediately recognize, love, and maybe even laugh about.
At the time, these were just digital mockups, but the concept stuck with me. With the shift from CS5 to Creative Cloud and the refreshed icon system, I’ve been wanting to revisit this series, modernize the designs, expand the set, and create physical versions that celebrate both the nostalgia and evolution of Adobe’s creative ecosystem.
Reflection:
This project is pure design geek joy, a crossover of branding, nostalgia, and minimal fashion. It celebrates the tools that defined so many creative beginnings (mine included) and continues to inspire how I think about simplicity in design.
