Hi, I'm Jeron Kuxhausen, a designer and developer who makes apparel graphics, brand systems, illustration work, production-ready designs, and builds the tools that make that work faster.
The design half is shirt graphics, logos, illustration, large-format, brand applications, and so much more. The developer half is scripting, plugin development for Adobe applications, and automating anything I think I can get away with automating. I love making internal workflow tools that take a job from "do this 50 times by hand" to "click once." The two sides aren't really separate for me. Knowing how to build something changes how I design it, and the other way around. I don't see my current skill set as a limit. If a project calls for something I haven't done yet, I'll figure out how to do it.
Outside of client work I'm usually tinkering with custom mechanical keyboards, learning new tricks for automation, or slowly building out the worlds and characters for graphic novels I want to make. I like diving into things I don't know yet and figuring them out along the way.
When I'm not in the studio, you'll find me at a TTRPG table laughing with friends, or at home with my wife, our daughter, and our pups.
Thanks for visiting From the Mind of JAK. I'm always working on the next thing.
