Poké Ball Splatter Collection explores how iconic symbols can be reinterpreted through texture and motion while maintaining instant recognizability. The project began as an experimental digital canvas study and evolved into a cohesive six-piece series built around visual energy and system consistency.
Each design isolates the core geometry of a specific Poké Ball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, Master Ball, Premier Ball, and Cherish Ball, reintroducing them through controlled paint-splatter textures. The splatter treatment creates a sense of impact and momentum, as if each symbol is captured mid-throw, while preserving strong silhouette recognition and established color identity.
The collection was intentionally developed as a modular system. Each piece functions independently as wall art, while together they form a cohesive grid presentation. The concept later expanded into all-over apparel applications, demonstrating scalability across print formats and wearable surfaces.
This project highlights the balance between nostalgia-driven iconography and modern surface design, transforming familiar forms into high-contrast, contemporary graphics.
