Poster
Shirt
This design was created for Mesa State College’s 2009 Pinion Pallooza (now Colorado Mesa University), themed “Full Throttle.” The concept came from the adrenaline rush of dirt bike stunts—fast, bold, and unapologetically messy. To capture that, I built the layout around splattered textures representing mud and energy, framing silhouetted riders mid-trick.
The bright magenta-on-black palette was a deliberate choice—something that would pop across campus posters, shirts, and event materials. It embodied that wild, fearless energy of the event and stood out from the usual school color schemes.
Reflection:
This project taught me how event design can define a moment on campus—how a simple poster or tee can become a lasting symbol of shared energy and excitement. Looking back, I still love how confidently it leans into contrast and chaos.
