JAK Studios was the personal brand I developed during my senior graphic design portfolio project. The logo was built around my initials, J.A.K. and reflects the same structure I already used in my art signature, where the top arm of the “J” crosses the “A,” and the leg of the “A” forms the “K.” The result is a unified, geometric mark that captures both precision and individuality, representing how I saw myself as a designer at that time.
The rounded, interconnected design expressed creativity and balance while grounding my identity in a professional, minimalist style. It served as my first real exploration into developing a cohesive personal brand, laying the groundwork for how I approach identity design today.
Reflection:
Although I’ve since evolved into my current brand, From the Mind of JAK, this project remains an important milestone. It marks where my personal branding journey began, a formative step in discovering how to translate who I am as a creative into visual form.
