Elephant Order started as a personal gift and eventually turned into a larger series built around the contrast between structure and spontaneity.
At the center of the project is a geometric elephant head, chosen for its sense of strength, stability, and calm. From there, I pushed the idea in two directions: Order and Chaos.
The Order pieces lean into symmetry, clean line work, and a more controlled use of color. The Chaos pieces take that same foundation and disrupt it with paint splashes and bolder blues, purples, and pinks. Even with the added energy, I wanted the elephant shape to stay clear and recognizable.
Each piece was designed to work on its own, but the full set was built to feel like a cohesive collection. I also created light and dark versions and later adapted the artwork for apparel so the design could carry across different formats without losing its impact.
What I like about this project is the tension between clean geometry and expressive texture. It is really about seeing how far those opposites can be pushed while still feeling connected as one system.
