Episode
This Let's Play was my second venture into a Let's Play project with the first being Pokémon: Let's Go Pikachu. This time around I decided to simplify the overlay so that I didn't have to do over 200 different overlay states. Early on I stuck with just a flat image and then at some point decided to add in a voice wave effect behind the magnifying glass. Felt like the motion helped to deal with engagement as this game does not have the flashiest graphics going like a normal Pokémon game generally would. Overall I enjoyed the project even though while doing this project I decided that my I wanted to focus on other avenues of my art and have put this channel aside for the moment. I may come back to it later as it was a very insightful endeavor and I leaned a lot. If you want to check out the Let's Play you can view that here.
