Three Feet from Gold (Version 2) revisits the timeless metaphor of perseverance with renewed depth and technical sophistication. Inspired by Napoleon Hill’s story of the miner who gave up just before striking gold, this piece transforms that message into a modern, tactile vision, one rendered entirely in Photoshop, exploring the interplay of light, texture, and form.
The hand, encased in molten gold, reaches upward toward a crown that gleams just out of reach. Every droplet and reflection conveys the weight of effort, ambition, and the fine line between struggle and success. Where Version 1 symbolized determination through simplicity, Version 2 expands that narrative into something more visceral and tangible, a reflection of my own artistic growth during my time at AZPro, where I honed my technical precision and visual storytelling.
The design evolved beyond digital illustration into a multidimensional statement, appearing as wall art and adapted into geometric apparel designs that blend fine art and fashion.
Reflection:
This version represents not just the concept of nearly there, but also the transformation that happens through persistence. It’s a reminder that growth, both personal and artistic, comes from continuing to reach, refine, and rise, no matter how close or far the crown may seem.
